The curse of Hector Ruiz

One of the biggest pieces of news in the high-tech industry for the past 24 hours was the revelation of AMD’s ex-CEO and current chairman of AMD’s infamous GlobalFoundries spin-off  Hector Ruiz as the senior executive who gave out insider information in the Galleon hedge fund scandal. Investigators are still trying to figure out Hector’s motives but I would not be at all surprised if it turned out to be just unintentional stupidity on Hector’s part.

AMD has finally gone M-A-D…….DAAMIT

AMD+ATI (or DAAMIT) just announced their next-gen Radeon GPU and their big brand new “feature” called Eyefinity where one GPU and card can drive 6 independent displays via 6 DisplayPorts.
