CES 2013: The LG Booth

As usual LG has a huge booth and as expected they had plenty of 4K TV’s which I will not bore you with. Instead I will highlight the more interesting stuff I found.

The 1st item is a 4K TV but what makes it interesting is the touch capabilities. This is what I want as part of my wall:

Next up are some OLED TV’s. I’m glad someone is pushing living-room sized OLED TV’s. The picture and color are what you’d expect from OLED (perfect!) and the screens are paper thin. LG has even managed to make some curved-screen ones:

The 3rd item is a good one. This is something that LG just quietly showed-off at their booth without any advance warning. Most people in the press haven’t even heard of it. It’s the LG Tab Book. A Windows 8 (not RT) hybrid tablet/ultrabook with an 11.6″ IPS touchscreen using a slider mechanism for the kayboard:
