The best tripod mount and stand for the HD2, iPhone, Blackberry or any other phone/media player you may have

While there are already quite a few tripod solutions for the iPhone, the same could not be said for other phones or media players. Lucky for me and my readers I found a great product today that works great for all phones and media players: The Personal Media Tripod from Versihold. ( Note: I have no affiliation with Versihold and they are not compensating me in any way.)

You can see more pictures of it in action by going to Versihold’s own website.  You can also try it out and buy it from your local Container Store for $19.99 which is where I bought mine. It was great to be able to try it out with my HTC HD2 before buying it. This product works great both as a tripod for your camera phones as well as a stand when you’re watching video on your phone or media player in both portrait and landscape mode. Obviously it works well for my HD2 but I’ve also tried it out on my Zune HD, my Xperia X1, even my PSP and it simply worked with all of them.

The tripod part of this product is sufficiently compact and functional but it’s definitely not as versatile as a Joby Gorillapod. The real magic is in the universal clip which is able to grab a wide range of devices and has a standard tripod mount so you can use it with a Gorillapod or even a full size tripod if you like. Another great feature of the clip even though it is not advertised by Versihold is that the clip itself functions as a simple stand in landscape mode even without using any tripod:

I too have the Versihold that I purchased at The Container Store and I find it so useful at the office or when I’m charging my phone at home. Great photos.

Based on this review, I went to the Container Store and purchased one as I was dissapointed in my Gorrillapod brand holder. I am very satisfied and love that it securely holds my phone even with my protective case on. The entire product is sturdy and seems built to last.

    Thanks for the great suggestion.
